Van Life Hub may collect information submitted by visitors, business owners and users of the website. This may include business names, contact details, addresses, website links, images, listing content, reviews, enquiries and technical information such as IP address, browser data and analytics.

This information is used to operate the directory, display business listings, manage enquiries, prevent spam or fraud, improve the website and comply with legal requirements.

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when needed to operate the website, process enquiries, comply with law, prevent abuse, or use trusted service providers.

Some features involve information you choose to share with other people, such as live location sharing, chat messages, reviews, photos, and vehicle or business listings. Anything you make visible to other users or publish on the website may be seen, copied or kept by others, and we cannot control what they do with it. Share only what you are comfortable sharing, and stop location sharing when you no longer want it active.

Terms & Conditions

By using Van Life Hub you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Directory service only. Listings, categories, vehicles for sale, reviews, maps, locations and search results are provided as an information and introduction service only. Van Life Hub is not a party to any dealing, sale, booking, hire, repair, service or other arrangement between users, between users and businesses, or between buyers and sellers, and is not an agent, broker, dealer, insurer or guarantor of anyone.

Content is supplied by users and third parties. Business listings, vehicle listings, descriptions, prices, photos, contact details, locations, reviews, messages and other content are entered by users, business owners, or collected from third-party and publicly available sources. Van Life Hub does not create, own or author that content and does not adopt or endorse it. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, misleading or fraudulent.

We cannot verify anyone. Even where we make reasonable efforts to review, moderate or check listings, users or content (for example, email or phone verification, removing reported listings, or automated filtering), there is no reliable way for us to prove that a person, business, vehicle, licence, ABN, identity, ownership, price, review or claim is genuine, lawful or safe. A listing appearing on Van Life Hub, being marked verified, or having reviews is not a recommendation, certification or assurance of any kind.

Scams and fraud. Online directories and marketplaces are targeted by scammers. You are responsible for protecting yourself. In particular: inspect vehicles and goods in person before paying; do not pay deposits or full amounts to someone you have not met or cannot identify; be cautious of requests for gift cards, cryptocurrency, bank transfers, “shipping agents”, overpayment refunds or urgency; independently confirm identity, ABN, licences, insurance, ownership, finance owing and registration (for vehicles, check the PPSR and state registration records); and meet in safe, public places. Van Life Hub does not hold, process or protect payments or deposits between users.

Your responsibility for content you submit. You are solely responsible for everything you post, upload or send, including its accuracy, legality and your right to publish it. You must not post false, misleading, stolen, counterfeit, illegal or unsafe listings, impersonate another person or business, or use the website to harass, spam or defraud others. Business owners must keep listings accurate, current and lawful.

Our rights. Van Life Hub may, at its discretion and without notice or liability, edit, reject, suspend, hide or remove any listing, review, message or account, block users, and share information with police, regulators or other authorities. We are under no obligation to monitor content and not removing something does not mean we approve it.

Use at your own risk. Any dealing with other users, businesses or sellers, any travel, any meeting in person and any sharing of your location is at your own risk. You are responsible for your own safety, due diligence and decisions.

Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Van Life Hub, its owner, operators and contractors exclude all liability for any loss, damage, cost or expense (including financial loss, loss of deposit or purchase price, fraud, theft, identity misuse, personal injury, property damage, loss of data or opportunity, and indirect or consequential loss) arising from or connected with use of the website, reliance on any content, any listing or user, any scam, or any dealing between users, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or the cost of doing so. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Indemnity. You agree to compensate Van Life Hub for any claim, loss or cost (including reasonable legal costs) arising from content you submit or your breach of these terms or of the law.

Availability and changes. The website is provided “as is” and “as available” and may be unavailable, inaccurate or changed at any time. We may update these terms, and continued use means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Vehicle Sales

These terms apply in addition to the Terms & Conditions to anyone who lists, enquires about, inspects or buys a vehicle, caravan, trailer, camper or related item advertised on Van Life Hub.

We are not the seller, dealer or agent. Van Life Hub only provides a place to advertise and a way to make contact. We do not own, inspect, test, hold, sell, deliver, finance, insure or register any vehicle, we do not take part in negotiations, and any sale is solely between the buyer and the seller. We do not hold or process deposits or purchase money.

Sellers are responsible for their advertisement. If you list a vehicle you promise that you are the owner or are authorised to sell it, that the description, photos, price, odometer reading, year, make, model, VIN, registration and history are accurate and not misleading, that you have disclosed any known defects, accident or flood damage, write-off or repair history, and that it is free of finance, security interests, liens or other encumbrances unless you clearly state otherwise. You must not advertise stolen, unregistered-where-required, odometer-tampered, re-birthed or otherwise unlawful vehicles, and you must comply with the laws that apply to you, including licensing requirements if you sell as a dealer or in the course of business and the Australian Consumer Law.

Buyers must do their own checks. Descriptions, photos, prices and any “price insight”, valuation, comparison or estimate shown on the website are indicative only, supplied by sellers or generated automatically, and may be wrong. Before paying you should inspect the vehicle in person (ideally with an independent mechanic or inspection service), take a test drive, check that the seller's identity matches the registration papers, and run a PPSR check for finance owing, written-off or stolen status, and a check of the registration, VIN and service history. Do not rely on a listing, a seller's statement or anything on Van Life Hub as proof of ownership, condition, roadworthiness or legal status.

Payments. Never pay a deposit or the full price for a vehicle you have not inspected, to a person you cannot identify, or through any arrangement involving escrow, shipping or transport agents, third-party “buyer protection” sites, gift cards, cryptocurrency or overpayment refunds. Be wary of prices far below market, sellers who are overseas or unavailable to meet, and pressure to act quickly. Use secure, traceable payment methods and a written receipt or contract, and complete the transfer of registration as required in your state or territory.

Beware of off-site requests. Van Life Hub never arranges payments, deposits, delivery, transport or escrow, and will never ask you for your password, bank or card details, or a verification code. Treat any message claiming to be from us, a “buyer protection” service or a courier asking for money or details as a scam, particularly if it asks you to move to WhatsApp, SMS or email, or to use a payment link, and report it to us.

No warranty, no cooling-off. Vehicles listed by private sellers are generally sold as is, where is, with no warranty or cooling-off period, subject to any rights that cannot be excluded by law. Van Life Hub gives no warranty, guarantee or condition about any vehicle or seller and is not responsible for the sale, the vehicle, defects, undisclosed finance, title or ownership disputes, non-delivery, misrepresentation, or any payment lost to a scam.

Reporting and removal. If a vehicle listing looks fake, misleading or suspicious, tell us through the contact form so we can review it. We may remove or hide any vehicle listing, block any user and pass information to police or regulators at our discretion, but we do not guarantee that we will identify or act on every problem listing, and removing a listing does not make us responsible for any dealing that has already happened.

Reviews & Content

Reviews, ratings, photos, messages and other content are the opinions and statements of the users who submit them, not of Van Life Hub, and we do not verify that a reviewer has dealt with the business or that a statement is true. Content may be moderated before or after publication, or not at all. It must not be false, abusive, defamatory, unlawful, spammy or infringe another party's rights.

By submitting content you confirm that you wrote it or have the right to submit it, and you grant Van Life Hub a free, non-exclusive licence to display, store and adapt it on the website. You remain responsible for it. To report content, use the contact form on this page.

Complaints & Updates

To request a correction, removal, privacy enquiry or complaint, contact us using the email above. We will review reasonable requests as soon as practical.
